The "Feather" Copper is a contemporary kinetic mobile with contoured metal shapes that float delicately in random formations. Beautifully balanced, the copper is brushed and lacquered. This is a visually simple and gentle "free hanging" kinetic sculpture.

The "Feather" Copper allows the light reflections to bounce off the curved metal vanes that add to the feathery, lofty sensation of the mobile. Each arm and vane moves freely from the other arms. Completely assembled and delivered ready to hang.

Alexander Calder made the mobile art form popular and was inspired by Joan Miro using bright, bold colors during the Mid Century Modern or Retro period of the 20th century. Now contemporary mobiles are used in a wide range of interior design venues.
